Mindset Matters

When you advance to higher levels of competition the speed of the game gets faster, your competition is stronger and every little detail matters.  Two athletes with the same speed, agility, and power will be separated by their mindset.  Through coaching and playing with athletes for the past 20 years, I have come to realize just how big of a factor your mindset is in athletic performance.  Due to this, I have seen great athletes perform way below their potential, yet I have also witnessed athletes produce results that far exceeded anyone’s expectation.

The right mindset is not something that you are born with–like fast twitch muscle fibers, or height.  Mental toughness can and should be taught and coached.  The biggest factor that will establish mental toughness is the upbringing of the athlete by parents, coaches, teachers and so on.  This is one of the major areas that college coaches evaluate when looking at an athlete.  It is the aspect we focus on with all of our athletes preparing for a great season, getting ready for college, a pro career, or just getting over an injury.  Mindset in athletics cannot be ignored when preparing athletes to perform at their highest level.

Please call now to find out all the ways we can help you have your best season ever!  Your results are guaranteed or it’s free.  (206) 588-5921
