| Confidence – The Game Changer
In the world of sports and competition, confidence plays a major role in an athlete’s success. When an athlete practices and trains hard, they build the confidence that is key to that success. Compound practice and training with said success, and it will only continue to grow.
Now, there is a such thing as over confidence. You tend to find this when an athlete has not put in the necessary time and effort, yet they view the competition as sub par. This can be so detrimental and challenging.
In training, we push our athletes to give their all in every workout. There are few things we can control. We cannot control the referee’s decision making, the amount of playing time that is given, the power and speed of the athletes being competed against, etc. What we do have control over, is our effort. Giving every workout and practice every ounce of effort, will build the confidence you need, to face a game or competition head-on.
Most importantly, confidence drawn from effort, will assist in helping to avoid regret. We have worked with countless athletes that state that they wish they had made the decision to work with us earlier in their careers. Not only do we push each athlete to their limit but we will ensure that their confidence bolsters them into discovering their full potential. Call us today if you are ready to take your confidence to next level! |

“Donny Mateaki’s results-driven workouts are built with one thing in mind – improving athletic performance. As a previous D1 athlete for the University of Washington, and training with professional and semi professional teams, I have been exposed to some of the top tier strength and conditioning programs available. Donny’s workouts have made me a better, more well-rounded athlete in every way than any program I have ever trained with has. I have trained with Donny for over two years, and have broken every single PR I have ever been recorded in. Donny is dedicated to make you brutally strong, lightning fast, and mentally tough. He doesn’t just make you big and strong, he works on your flexibility, plyometrics, speed and technique, and mental game. He even goes further than that. Donny also recognizes the importance of being and staying healthy. While it seems logical that every program would want to keep their athletes healthy, most wait for injury to occur and then take action. Donny works on support muscles that you never even knew you had to prevent injury and stay healthy. Donny is the most educated strength and conditioning coach I have ever worked with and has gotten me further than I would have ever thought I could go.”
