It is very difficult to stay focused long enough to achieve your fitness or athletic goals. One thing that will assist you dramatically, is a performance partner. A performance partner is someone who can check in on you at least once a week, to make sure that you are taking the proper steps toward your goals. It has been proven that you are 75% more likely to achieve your goals when you have someone else holding you accountable. This person can be a spouse, friend, or co-worker. Take the time to pick someone who will be positive and help you reach your goals.

“Since the age of 13, I have been seeing Donny. When I started, I did not understand the effort level and commitment required to pursue my goals as an athlete. It took me three more years to fully wrap my head around these aspects. However, during the summer of 2013, I started up with Donny once again. On the first day, he put me through a mental exercise which made me find and confirm my goals for my next baseball season. It opened the door to my mind’s competitive edge and it flipped a switch. Ever since then, I have been working hard every day I am in the weight room. With Donny, and without him. I have made great gains in the past four months. My back squat has increased around 75 pounds, along with my bench press increasing 35 pounds. I have gained tons of strength and explosive speed. I have also gained a solid 10 pounds of body mass. This is great considering I am a short, Japanese kid. Over my time with Donny, my body has gotten a lot stronger and faster. Working with Donny has not only made my body more powerful, it has also made my mind stronger. I am now going always going for “one more.” Or “ten more.” The number doesn’t matter. The mindset matters. Always ATTACK. That’s the motto. And it’s one I am going to continue to live by.”
