First of all, the athlete has to want to achieve this. Next there needs to be a plan of action of how the athlete will accomplish this goal. After the plan is in place, the athlete will need to follow the plan everyday without compromise. Especially on the days when your body doesn’t feel good and it seems like you have no energy. These are the days that break through happens because everyone works hard when they feel good. It is those athletes that continue to push through the difficult times that will realize their full potential. The ability to work hard everyday is a habit that must be developed.
