How to Tone Muscles

Get Tone

There is so much confusing information that is spread, regarding weight lifting, bulking up and simply creating muscle tone. It’s well-known that weight lifting is key for anyone attempting to lose weight or improve athletic performance. The quickest way to burn fat and improve athleticism, is to build muscle.

Many weight lifting routine programs call for high repetition. The misconception is that this will create good muscle tone and improve performance; while the truth is that it will quickly bulk you up–as though you are preparing for a body building competition. This is the preferred way that many body builders get big quickly–by lifting light weights and increasing their reps.

If your aim is to tone muscle or work on improving your fast twitch muscle fibers and athleticism, you must integrate heavy weight and low repetitions. The heavier weight will recruit additional muscles to aid in the lift, thus burning more fat and creating leaner, faster muscle fibers.

Athletes can do repetitions of ten or more and still not increase the slow twitch muscle fibers, as it’s imperative that the high repetition exercises be paired with low repetition exercises.

Do not leave your athleticism or your fitness up to chance. Science and research backs our methods and techniques. Call us now and discover your potential.
