Athletes tend to have the assumption that they can improve all areas they need to work on, at once. The fact is that you can work on different things at the same time, but you will not see optimal results. In order to maximize your results, you need to focus on what requires the most attention.
For example, we regularly see basketball players that have goals of jumping higher, and playing better defensively. With the evaluation we use, we are able to pin point what needs to be worked on most, before we get to jumping or running. It will often be hip mobility or hamstring flexibility. Our athletes are astounded at how much easier it is to jump and run, after these issues are fixed. Then, we move in to the actual technical work of jumping and running.
Determine the most important aspect of your athleticism that needs work–get some expert advice on how to handle it, and focus on accomplishing that until you are you begin to master it.
Only in this way, will athletes be able to perform at their highest level. Attempting to work on too many things at once, will not attain the best results. Call us now and let us put a program together for you, so you can discover your potential!
Sincerely,
