We live in a world where there is more information available to people than ever before. That is a great thing that can be used for so much good; but there can be drawbacks to this as well. The information to improve strength, speed and performance is more accessible, but because of how easy it is to publish a blog or website, there is a lot of misinformation that must be sorted through.
In general, I don’t believe that people intend to mislead others–but I do feel that many appear to publish information before they do their research or testing. It’s important to be mindful of what we read on the web–just as it is with printed books, papers and magazines.
We take our time to read through books, web sites, blogs, articles and case studies to see what is circulating out there. If something makes sense, we cross check it to see if it is in alignment with the methods in which we’ve been educated. Then we move forward and begin testing. Sometimes it works out, and other times (more often then not) they do not. This process might be a long and grueling one, but it is the only way we can insure that we are doing our best, for the people we work with.
Improving our athlete’s performance is our passion. It is what motivates us to put in whatever amount of time is needed, to research and test, in an effort to stay on top of what works best. Contact us now, and let us help you take your game to the next level!
Sincerely,
Donny Mateaki
