Recovering from Injuries

Coming back from an injury can be difficult. Not only does one need to regain muscle strength, range of motion, and flexibility, but confidence is key. Because it’s never guaranteed that an athlete will be able to make a full recovery from an injury, it’s important to know that these components need to be in place, in order to give athletes the best chance to recover.

After a (hopefully) successful surgery, physical therapy is in order.
There are many good physical therapists, but in order to see a full recovery, athletes need to see the best. Typically, these are physical therapists that work specifically with athletes.

After being cleared from physical therapy, it’s imperative that they work with a strength and conditioning coach who specializes in working with athletes post-surgery.

At DM Athletics, our mission is to help every athlete we work with to perform at their highest level, regardless of prior injuries. Fulfilling our mission can sometimes be very challenging–but through years of experience, has taught us how to learn and find the answers to some of the tough recovery scenarios. It is also why we love what we do. The ability to be part of the process; helping people make a full recovery back to peak performance or better, is priceless. Call now and let us help you discover your potential!

Sincerely,
Donny Mateaki and the DM Athletics Team
